    How to create a new account on EDaura?

    EDaura is a free app for both teachers and students. To register to EDaura you need to first visit the www.edaura.com website where you will find two main buttons on the page. One for creating an account as a student and the other for creating an account as a teacher. If you click any of them, you will be directed to the registration page to either register using social media or manual. If you choose to register manually an email verification will be sent to the email you used to create your account. You need to go to your email and click on the verification link to activate the account.

    How to create a course?

    After logging in to EDaura you will be directed to the courses page. This page will help you add or join courses and manage existing courses. You can add a new course by click the add button. This will guide you to the add new course wizard. The wizard will ask you to assign a name for the course, a description, a stage, this field is optional, and an icon. The next step is where you assign policies to your course. The third step is a confirmation that you finished creating the course and two buttons to take you to the classroom page or the skills template. We will make videos explaining those two steps in different videos. Now if you are part of an enterprise EDaura subscription you will be given an invitation code for a ready-made course created by the system administrator. You use this invitation code to input it in the join course pop-up to gain access to the course. This course policies are setup by the administrator and will behave different from courses you create by yourself. You can edit or delete courses form the courses page.

    How to add a classroom?

    After logging in to EDaura you will be directed to the courses page. Click on one of the courses. The first tab is your classroom tab. In this page, you can add new classrooms to your course. Note that all your classrooms will share the same resources and assignments within the course. Click on add classroom button and type the classroom name in the pop-up to add a new classroom. To invite your students, you need to click on the classroom you created to access the classroom page and then click on invite students. You have two options to invite your students. The first option is an invitation code that you share with your students. Your students will use this code to join your course form their EDaura accounts. When students join your course, they will appear in the classroom. The second option is by sending them an email invitation to their personal emails. To stop more students from joining your course you can reset the invitation code

    How to add resources?

    After logging in to EDaura you will be directed to the courses page. Click on one of the courses. The second tab is your resources tab. In the resources page click on the add resource button. You will be directed to the load resources page. You have two options. You can either upload a file such as PDF, word, PowerPoint, excel, and Image or you can add a hyperlink by selecting the link option. You can modify the file name and make the file hidden form your students until you decide to make it visible. When you add a hyperlink you can add a title for the hyperlink and make it hidden.

    How to add an assignment?

    Welcome to EDaura. After logging in to EDaura you will be directed to the courses page. Click on one of the courses. The third tab is your assignments tab. In the assignments page click on add the assignment button. You will be redirected to the create assignment page. You can add a title, a description, and a file attachment for your students. You can also indicate when will this assignment become visible to the students and when is it due. If you are measuring skills in this course you will see a list of domains that you can select from. You will use those domains to assess your students in this assignment. You can assign a mark for this assignment. When you are finished click on save.

    How to correct & distribute an assignment?

    After logging in to EDaura you will be directed to the courses page. Click on one of the courses. The third tab is your assignments tab. In the assignments page click on the assignment to go to the assignment view page. From the assignment view page click on the submission button to view the status of your students’ submissions. When you click on any student you will start correcting their work. Note that you can leave feedback even if the student did not submit any work. In the correction page, you will see the text annotation box. This box will view what your student submitted for this assignment. If he or she submitted more than one file, the files will appear as tabs. Write your notes on their submissions then write your general note. If the submitted files did not open, you can download them from the list below. Then you can put a mark for the student and assign a scale for each skill you are measuring in this assignment if any. Click on save and move to the next student to continue the correction process. You can recollect more than once. After you are done correction you need to go back to the submission page and then click on the publish button. you can either publish the results now to your students or select a specific date and time. note that if after publishing the results you wish to go back and reconnect or correct an assignment this is also possible but you need to click on publish again. The system is smart and will only notify the students with modifications on their assignments.
